NAPA and Body Positive, two prominent organisations dedicated to fostering inclusivity and celebrating diversity, are proud to announce their collaboration in hosting the inaugural national day, “Silver Rainbows Pride” Taking place on June 24th, 2023, this ground-breaking day aims to highlight and honour LGBTQ+ people in all their diversity, with a special focus on individuals who are 50 years and older.

We will feature a wide range of resources and activities ideas, all aimed at celebrating the rich heritage and history of LGBTQ+ people. We encourage all care and support services to embrace this national day and plan activities and events to recognise the incredible lives of older LGBTQ+ people.
Body Positive, an organisation renowned for its advocacy and support for the LGBTQ+ community, brings its expertise and resources to ensure that Silver Rainbows Pride is a resounding success. By fostering an atmosphere of respect and appreciation, Body Positive and NAPA seek to empower individuals of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate their unique and authentic selves.
Celebrations, events, and activities will take place across NAPA Member settings nationwide, with diverse programming tailored to reflect needs and interests of LGBTQ+ people aged 50+, and welcomes everyone to join in this celebration of diversity and inclusivity.
